■ものづくりへの想い

最も脱げにくく、かつ最も履き口の浅いフットカバーを作りたい、という想いで企画しました。４口のインターシャマシンの特徴を活かしたフットカバーです。半回転の編地を利用し、ゴム糸を部分的に編み込む事で、足全体をホールドします。更に踵部分が大きく編まれているので、足にフィットして脱げにくい仕様となっております。

■Thought to Manufacturing

We planned the design with the concept of a foot cover that is hard to come off and has a shallow mouth. This piece makes the most out of the 4-head Intarsia sewing machine. By using a half-turn knit fabric, we weaved the rubber part into this piece to hold the whole foot. In addition, since we used a large knit for the heel, it is difficult for it to come off when fitting the foot.
